In general, the trips we plan is only with the well-known person aimed to have a lot of fun, relaxation and have happy moments.

Do you say yes?

If yes, just think about it few days after the trip. What will we do?

Ouch! Have you noted that Ram, he is so mean right? Yes, I too noted. He also ate my Pagoda you know, Hema says. WHAT?! How did you allow him to eat the pagoda I bought. I haven’t tasted even a single piece of it. He should be …… Ajay yells. Yeah! We make gossips right?! Oh! Still, you want me to gossip about Sita’s show off. Come on man, let me finish writing this first and we talk more about Sita and Raj atrocities.

Do you think the objective of the trip was achieved really? We were back biting on each other right?! If you felt so and you don’t want to have such trips, read further.

The Trip Members

I had a good experience and suggesting it for you too. I am an engineering college student and I am a Student Placement Coordinator (SPC) for my class. The SPC is a person who acts as a bridge connecting the placement requirements of the students, the departments and the Training, Development & Placement Cell (TDP Cell). Hmm… I can read your mind which mocks me bad! The TDP Cell follows the Corporate culture coping up with the College guidelines. The basic idea of the SPCs is to help the classmates to achieve the placement target. For that, the SPCs has to work with another department SPCs and the TDP Cell staffs closely. We don’t know each other but we have to work. So, we planned for a trip and thereof we can know each other well. We thought it will also lead us to move easily in future.

The Plan is here!

The plan made by one of the SPC and the TDP staff. We planned to visit Fruitsnbeans Resort near Kodaikanal. Although some of the SPCs weren’t dared enough to make their trip with the not well-known person, they joined.

Ready.. Steady…Go!!! The trip started with a chorus voice “Govinda Govinda!” in the congesting bus which unfits for the trips because of its unspacious aisle. But we giggled and talked with each other and we forget to give a rock performance on the bus. I think it was a good start which made all of us comfortable.

Fuel up the Tummy… We had a buffet breakfast feast on the roads of Kodaikanal. The foods are brought by the day scholars SPCs and the staffs.Someone sparked with an idea of sharing it equally was really good and all the food tasted yummy.

The roooooaaaaaddssss… The tummy full of food and the journey on the long hair pin bends on a moody weather day delighted us. The bus sometimes was unable to run over the high slopes was really funny.

At Resort … We reached the place and we warmly welcomed by the resort owner Mr. Soundarapandian and we had a glass of fresh fruit juice made from the fruits grown on the estate itself. Err.. its mouth watering for me even now.

Let’s have a walk! We planned for an estate walk at first and we were guided by him. He seems to be a 40+ aged man with the unique style of speaking skills. I reminded the Tamil Cinema Director, Gowtham Vasudev Menon whenever he speaks. He showed us the coffee beans, the pepper creeps, orange fruits, the jack fruits, the avocados and the guava. He also gave us some fruits and it tasted like something we haven’t tasted ever because of its freshness. He also shared some of the gardening strategies, educational qualifications, and career plan. He also made us realize how the calm animal we consider elephant is so violent on their estate. The wild cows’ atrocities also increased the panic for us.

Be freaky! After a walk for an hour, we had a delicious meal.

We played a Secret Revealer game where the TDP staffs revealed more secrets they know about their peers. It was so funny and interesting.

To build up team work, we split into two equal halves and played a dumb chariot game where we were all expecting for Mr. Aravind’s acting.

Then, a game only for knowing the SPCs team work, we were given a set of cards and we asked to form a phrase. It was tricky and we enjoyed playing that too.

Then we played a Tuck off the war which was the most interesting game we played. We were using our eternal forces to win the game and we ended up with ties.

We finished it off and few SPCs and staff were talking with each other. Suddenly, few SPCs thrown a balloon filled up with water. Those SPCs were damn planners and hit the innocents. OMG!! That was crucial but the craziest one.

The final game, it was the Treasure Hunt, the clues which we had was brain storming and the SPCs were running all through the resort and searching for clues on the every nook and corner. It was the most interesting game we played before sent off by Mr.Soundarapandian after a group photograph.

The Unplanned activities!

While returning, we danced on the dark roads of the Kodai which were unimaginable. I never dreamt of having such experience. That’s damn great feel!
After a short while, we jumped into a horror cum spiritual based discussion on the highway roads. That discussion was the cup of tea for Atheist and Theist.

Hmm!! I hope you are preparing for your trip!

Okay! Do you want me to say we really enjoyed those moments and we got to know each other? Hahaa!! Definitely yes and it was a complete relaxation for us and we started loving each other. The best part was, there was no one to restrict others and no one crossed their limits.

The trip was adventurous (a bit), worth enjoying and of no back biters. Let’s we talk about the atrocities of Raj and Sitaaaa…..
