Greetings!
I am very glad to know about Mozilla. It fascinates me more when I got to know a community MozillaTamilNadu, the Tamil People contributions for Mozilla. It is even more fascinating to me, when I was in the community. The 2016 will be ending soon, so I am writing a 6 month contribution plan for Mozilla in 2017.
When you ask me what are the features you like in Firefox, I would definitely say add-ons as one of my favorites. So, I am planning to contribute in the following ways,
-> Installing Test Pilot and reviewing at most 100 add-ons.
-> Then, I have an idea for MozCoffee. Definitely, I will organize up to 3 meetups and educate my pals about add-ons for its betterment.
Did you ask me, I like programming? I could say yeah, of course, I love it! So, Mozilla uses Rust and my contribution plans are,
-> Blog.. Blog..Blogss.. Yes, I am new to Rust, so I will be learning a lot of content about Rust and retranslating them in Tamil language. I am planning to do for a minimum of 10 best and basic blogs of Rust programming to be translated.
-> Then, I will be sharing my feedbacks and cool snippets about Rust in the form of blogs whatever I learn about it. I think it’s more than 10 blogs, feedbacks for sure.
-> If I got a chance of teaching rust, I will do without any hesitation and also I will attend any campaigns regarding Rust and be a brand of MozillaTN.
I have a passion for my Tamil Language and the Mozilla too. So, my plans for contributing in Localization is
-> To localize minimum of 5 documents.
If you ask me, that’s it about your plans, I will add up one more. It’s Social Media. I know the value of Social Media and my contributions will be
-> Posting my each and every blog about Mozilla in Facebook & Twitter with the Hash Tag #MozillaTN17.
-> Awaring peoples about Mozilla more and generating the new contributors.
